OBJECT/D-FI operates at the intersection of music, sound and video art, exploring liminal spaces—between technology, signal and noise, self and system. Influenced by the fragmented aesthetics of digital culture, tracks emerges through abstraction and the “breaking of things". These mistakes and mishaps can reveal hidden textures and subtext that are often masked. Big into experimentation and a hybrid approach to technology, melding the old with the new to reveal new aesthetic forms. Drawn to the potential of malfunction—glitches, ruptures, temporal feedback and how error can become expression. Ultimately, OBJECT/D-FI is an invitation to experience form and fracturing, glitch as grammar, materiality and disruption.
